L4H Foundation organized its third Free Medical Camp in the far remote delta of Hiranmoypur, Gosaba block, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. Sundarbans delta communities face high geographical isolation and lack access to basic primary healthcare facilities.
The camp benefited 170+ adults mostly dependent on daily fishing and farming. Thyrocare Kolkata managed blood collection, and the foundation sponsored five medical practitioners to guide patients. Free diagnostic checkups covered liver, thyroid, kidney profiles, and cancer screenings, alongside immediate medicine distribution drives.
