Academic Care

Nurturing Underprivileged Talents

Live 4 Help (L4H) Foundation is committed to identifying deserving, meritorious students and their academic needs. Through active social platforms, the foundation appeals to patrons and well-wishers to support these needy students with stipends and scholarships to meet their basic needs and ensure continuity of education.

From a humble journey with **one student in June 2021**, we have extended education support to **34+ high-potential students** from seven states of India (Delhi, West Bengal, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Bihar). **65% (22 out of 34) of our beneficiaries are girls.**

The Education Committee

Our foundation has formed an education committee comprising highly qualified academic and corporate leaders. During regular monthly virtual meetings, the team invites beneficiary students to share their career aspirations, master plans, study hurdles, and tuition gaps.

Such interactions provide an open, safe forum for bonding directly with global members and sponsors, boosting student confidence and communication skills, while assisting the foundation in monitoring educational growth.

SM

Suvankari Mondal

West Bengal

Suvankari lost both her parents and lived with her aunt, a daily wage laborer. Suffering from severe malnutrition, she was on the verge of abandoning her education. L4H Foundation initially supported her with medical check-ups and nutritious food, eventually expanding assistance to cover her higher schooling. Today, she is a healthy, aspiring young woman preparing for her final B.A. examinations!

SS

Shweta Singh

Delhi/NCR

Living in Delhi with her mother and two siblings after her father passed away from cancer, Shweta is an extremely meritorious student at New Sainik Public School. L4H committed to covering her school tuition. Additionally, our USA and Kuwait-based members, Mrs. Amrita Datta and Mr. Subhendu Shekhar Mal, provided her with free online English and Science coaching. Now in class X, she is highly confident and aims to study Commerce.

SP

Subham Pandey

IIT Guwahati (M.Sc)

Subham scored 94% in Class X and 95.8% in Class XII, but his higher education was in severe jeopardy due to COVID income loss and his father's deteriorating health. L4H stepped in, sponsoring his B.Sc. semester fees, books, and coaching. One of our volunteers, Dr. Mrs. Kazi Sabnam Banu from Kolkata, provided him free online Chemistry tutoring. We are immensely proud to share that Subham has been selected at IIT for his master's degree!

AK

Anjali Kisku

Bankura Tribal Village

Anjali is the first graduate from her entire tribal village. Preparing for job interviews, basic computer training became a necessity. However, commuting 20 kms to the nearest computer institute and bearing course fees was impossible on her father's daily wage income. L4H sponsored her commute costs and computer course fees. She now has the necessary digital skills to build a bright career.

Grassroots Engagement

Global Motivation & Offline Coaching Pilots

We believe face-to-face interactions build strong moral foundations. In December 2023, our core member Mr. Ramkrishna Sadhukhan traveled from the USA to meet tribal village students in Bankura, West Bengal, encouraging their parents to continue daughters' higher educations and distributing school bags and cakes.

During COVID-19 school closures, we launched a pilot program in Medinipur, hiring local youth to conduct **free offline coaching classes** for underprivileged children, maintaining study continuity. We plan to replicate this model in other villages.
